The rules for using Football Matchday. It's free, it needs no account, and it is for your personal use.
Who we are
Football Matchday is provided by Osama Moftah, [to be added before release] ("we"). By using the app you agree to these terms.
The service
Football Matchday shows fixtures, live scores, match events, tables, squads and statistics, lets you create and share match cards, and offers free lock-screen stamps. The app is free and needs no account. Prints bought in the shop are covered by the Shop Terms.
Football data comes from a licensed third-party provider. It can be delayed, incomplete or corrected after the fact, and the app says when data is cached or delayed. We don't guarantee that the app is always available or error-free, and we may change or discontinue features.
Football Matchday is an information service. It is not intended for betting or any decision with financial consequences.
Your use
You may use the app for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not:
- access our server other than through the app, or collect its data automatically;
- reverse engineer the app, except where the law allows it;
- interfere with the app's security or its operation for others;
- sell or redistribute the app's content, including stamps and match cards, other than sharing a card or stamp for personal purposes.
Names, marks and content
The app's design, code, artwork and text belong to us. Football data is licensed from Sportmonks.
Club, competition and player names and marks belong to their owners. Football Matchday is independent and not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any club, league, federation or governing body.
Free stamps are licensed to you for use on your own devices only; the artwork's copyright stays with us.
Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and under the German Product Liability Act.
Because the app is provided free of charge, we are otherwise not liable for slight negligence. Where the law nevertheless requires liability for slight negligence in breaching an obligation essential to the service, it is limited to the typical, foreseeable damage. Liability for prints you buy follows the Shop Terms and the statutory rules.
Apple App Store
If you downloaded the app from the App Store, the following also applies:
- These terms are between you and us, not Apple. We, not Apple, are responsible for the app and its content.
- Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app.
- To the extent permitted by law, Apple has no warranty obligation for the app. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any.
- We, not Apple, are responsible for any claims relating to the app, including product liability claims, claims that it fails to meet legal or regulatory requirements, and consumer protection claims.
- If a third party claims that the app infringes their intellectual property rights, we, not Apple, are responsible for investigating, defending, settling and discharging that claim.
- You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a US Government embargo, and that you are not listed on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
Changes and law
We may update these terms. The version and date below always show the current text, and we will point out significant changes in the app.
German law applies. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live.
