In short

Data stored on your phone

The app stores the following on your device so that it works the way you set it up:

This data stays on your phone. Storing it is strictly necessary to provide the service you asked for (§ 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG). Remove it at any time in Settings, under Clear saved football data, which keeps only your appearance and display settings, or by deleting the app, which removes everything.

When the app loads football data

Fixtures, scores, tables and player statistics come from our server, hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. With each request your phone necessarily transmits its IP address, the address of the data requested, the time and the app version.

We use the IP address only to deliver the response and, held in memory for up to one minute, to limit excessive requests. Our server keeps no access log and never writes your IP address to disk. Error logs contain no IP addresses and are overwritten automatically.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in delivering the app securely and reliably (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Hetzner processes this data on our behalf under a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR), in data centres in the EU.

App updates

Small improvements reach the app through Expo's update service, operated by 650 Industries, Inc., USA. When checking for an update, your phone sends its IP address, the app version, the platform and the update channel. Expo processes this data on our behalf to deliver updates, based on our legitimate interest in keeping the app current and secure (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Data may be transferred to the USA. The transfer is safeguarded by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses in Expo's data processing agreement (Art. 46 GDPR).

Saving and sharing

When you save a free stamp or a match card, the iOS share sheet opens and you choose where it goes, for example Save Image to add it to Photos. The app can only hand the image over; it cannot see your photo library. We receive nothing.

Football data

Football data is licensed from Sportmonks. Sportmonks supplies data to our server and receives no information about you.

Apple

You download the app from Apple's App Store, which Apple operates under its own privacy policy. If you agreed to share analytics with app developers in your iPhone settings, Apple gives us aggregated, anonymous statistics such as crash counts. We cannot identify you from them.

Children

The app is suitable for all ages. Purchases require the buyer to be an adult or to have a parent's permission; we don't knowingly collect personal data from children.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify and erase your personal data, to restrict its processing, to data portability and, where we rely on legitimate interest, to object (Art. 15–21 GDPR). Outside of orders we hold no data that identifies you. For an order, write to [to be added before release] with the order number.

You may also complain to a data protection supervisory authority. Ours is the Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit, Alt-Moabit 59–61, 10555 Berlin, Germany.

Changes

We will update this policy before adding any new processing and show the new version in the app. Version 1.2, effective 2026-10-01.
